Install the plugin like any other wordpress plugin, use either the add new from within wordpress admin plugins page or extract the zip file and upload it with ftp to the wp-content/plugins directory.

Once you have installed the plugin simply active it.

Next go to Settings -> Permalinks and choose anything but the default link structure.
